Dominique was born and raised in France. She was diagnosed with scleroderma in 1996 and immediately sought out organisations that would offer support and allow her to make a meaningful commitment. Following her roles as regional representative and secretary, Dominique now serves as the French Scleroderma association's (ASF in French) President, a position she has held for almost 10 years. As a "full-time volunteer", she dedicates herself to the daily running of the organization, representing French patients before health professionals, the media, medical research teams, but also other organizations part of FESCA and French rare disease organizations.
