We’re pleased to announce that St. Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne has joined SPIN as the newest clinical site for recruiting scleroderma patients for the SPIN Cohort. SPIN recruitment at this site will be led by rheumatologists Dr. Mandana Nikpour and Dr. Wendy Stevens, and Clinical Trial Coordinator Alicia Calderone.
The SPIN Cohort is still growing steadily, and now consists of over 1,800 people with scleroderma, recruited by health professionals from 40 clinical centres around the world, located in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Spain, Mexico, and now Australia.
Once their accounts are activated on our online platform, Cohort participants complete assessments every three months that help the SPIN team understand their challenges and support needs. SPIN Cohort participants may also be asked to participate in trials to test SPIN’s online patient programs for people with scleroderma.
