Dr. David Leader is a collaborating investigator in SPIN. Currently, Dr. Leader is the Director of the Emergency Clinic at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Massachusetts. In addition, since 2015, he has been the Director of Tufts University’s DMD/MPH Dual Degree Program. Corresponding to this role, Dr. Leader is also an Associate Professor at the university.

Dr. Leader has been heavily involved in scleroderma research and education. He has been on the committee for the Scleroderma Foundation in Danvers, Massachusetts, for over 16 years. Since 2005, Dr. Leader has been a presenter at annual national and regional meetings. He has contributed many publications in dentistry and is the recipient of two Fellowships/Grants. In addition, his most recent award was the Provost Award for outstanding teaching and service.
