Sindhu Johnson

Rheumatologist

Dr. Sindhu Johnson, MD, PhD, FRCPC, is an Assistant Professor in the University of Toronto’s Division of Rheumatology, in the Faculty of Medicine, and the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. She is the Director for the University Health Network’s Toronto Scleroderma program.

Originally from Newfoundland, Dr. Johnson completed her undergraduate and medical school training at Memorial University of Newfoundland. She then moved to Toronto, where she completed her Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Toronto. In 2013, Dr. Johnson obtained her PhD in Clinical Epidemiology, having focused her work on different classification criteria used in systemic sclerosis
