Please join us in congratulating SPIN Patient Advisory Board Co-Chair Maureen Sauvé on her induction into the Hamilton Gallery of Distinction! The Hamilton Gallery of Distinction recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to the betterment of the Hamilton community. Maureen has contributed to her community as a leader in business and real estate, promoting the redevelopment of downtown Hamilton. She has also made her mark as a tremendous advocate for people living with scleroderma, in Ontario, across Canada, and internationally. Maureen is past-president of both Scleroderma Canada and the Scleroderma Society of Ontario. She played a major role in conceiving the SPIN project and has been actively involved from the beginning. In 2010, Maureen secured seed funding to launch planning for what would become SPIN. The SPIN team is tremendously grateful for all that Maureen has done and continues to do.
