Nancy Lewis has a PhD in sociocultural anthropology and worked for many years in health policy with the Ontario provincial government and governmental agencies. Despite being diagnosed with scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis and interstitial lung disease in 2007, she continued working until 2019. She brought her multiple perspectives as a qualitative researcher, policy analyst and patient to SPIN since 2019 and enjoys working with the team to improve care and outcomes for people with scleroderma.

Nancy lives in Toronto with her husband and two cats. She is focused on living well with her chronic conditions.
