Shadi Gholizadeh

Clinical Psychologist

Shadi Gholizadeh is currently an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychology and InternshipTraining Director at the California School of Professional Psychology/Alliant International University-Los Angeles. She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology in the SDSU/UCSD Joint Doctoral Program in San Diego, CA, with a concurrent Master of Public Health degree. Shadi graduated from The London School of Economics and Political Science with an MSc in Social and Cultural Psychology and from Stanford University with a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Middle Eastern Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. Previously, Shadi conducted research for an international health outcomes consultancy with a focus on Health Related Quality of life (HRQL) and has published research in the areas of rare diseases and patient reported outcomes. Shadi has an interest in body image in chronic illness, adjustment to chronic illness, culturally informed measure development, and web-based health outcomes analyses.
