Yanne Perriault
Vice-President of Association des Sclérodermiques de France, Patient advocate
After living abroad for 15 years (Canada, UK, Thailand, Australia, Germany), Yanne now lives in Paris, France, with her husband. She is the mother of two grown-up children. Yanne holds a BA in Arts from Brock University (Ontario) and a Master in International Relations from Sciences Po Paris. She has worked for 25 years in various company management positions and founded her own company, a startup in robotics, in 2016. Yanne was diagnosed with scleroderma in 2012. She became a Board member of the French Patient Association – Association des Sclérodermiques de France (ASF) – in 2013 and was in charge of the relationships with the Federation of European Scleroderma Association (FESCA). In 2022, she became Vice-President of ASF. She is responsible for relations with the healthcare industry players. She participates in setting-up self-management programs at hospitals and works with the ASF’ scientific advisory board for earlier diagnosis and better treatments. Yanne undertakes a professional retraining in medical hypnosis.
